Service description

DrawX is built and operated by Ideator. It provides a web-based drawing tool with cloud saving. The drawing editor is powered by Excalidraw, an open-source project licensed under the MIT License. We add account management, project persistence, library saving, and canvas thumbnails on top of the open-source editor.

Account terms

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person or entity per account.

Acceptable use

You may use the service for any lawful purpose. You may not use the service to store or distribute illegal content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure, or abuse the service in a way that degrades performance for other users.

Intellectual property

You own everything you create. Your drawings, diagrams, and designs belong to you. We claim no intellectual property rights over the content you create with the service.

Open-source attribution

The drawing editor component is built with Excalidraw, which is open-source software released under the MIT License. The Excalidraw project is maintained by its contributors and is not affiliated with this service. We use the Excalidraw React component as the frontend editor; the backend infrastructure (accounts, saving, library persistence) is built and maintained by us.

Pricing and refunds

The service costs $20 per year. Payment is handled at the time of registration or renewal. If you are not satisfied with the service, contact us within 30 days of payment for a full refund.

Service availability

We strive to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or unauthorized access to your account. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
